Desert Storm

from The Puzzle by Howard Haigh & Lava

/

about

With the war in Iraq looming, and memories of the previous one, I made this. The sounds are myself on guitar, mutated voice, percussion (darabuka, drum kit), Jax Hynes on Flutes, Guy Morris on Electric Guitar and Bass. I did a lot of editing on the guitar to make new phrases and patterns, and radically altered the tone. It's quite a sonic assault.
